ORGANIZATION

Members

There are no dues for our organization.  Members are individuals who attend meetings, volunteer time, offer campaign assistance and make donations to campaigns.  We encourage township residents to take part in the political process in any way they feel comfortable.

Officers

Meridian Democrats elects officers at the annual meeting during odd numbered years.  Current officers are

    Felix Sharpe, Recording Secretary
    Marna Wilson, Corresponding Secretary
    Don Twohy, Treasurer

The officers meet numerous times during the year to discuss fundraising, local issues, elections and other appropriate topics.  An annual meeting open to all is held at the beginning of the year, usually in March or April.  The annual meeting is an opportunity for local Democrats to offer ideas to the officers about how they would like to see the group proceed during the year.  It is also a time to socialize with fellow Democrats and catch up with the many activities taking place throughout the township.
